1. I like to photograph lots of different things, but I think that I really enjoy shooting some odd looking things that don't look completely real, I don't like it to look really fake or really photoshoped but I do like the more abstract things. I also like to shoot some really vibrant colors and I also like to get pictures of animals.
2. Aperture is the opening in the lens of the camera, kind of like the pupil of the eye. It effects light and depth of field. It is also one of the elements of the exposure triad.
3. ISO is the cameras sensitivity to light, but it also makes the camera's picture blurry if the ISO is to high. It is another of the elements of the exposure triad.
4.Shutter speed is the rate at which the shutter in front of the lens opens and closes. It affects light and motion. Also it is one of the elements of the exposure triad.
5. The exposure triad is basically Aperture, ISO, and Shutter speed. They all affect the camera's sensitivity to light, along with some other things. You could turn down the ISO and make the shutter speed longer, or make the aperture smaller and make the ISO bigger, and there are many different things you could do to have them work together.
6. By adjusting the aperture and changing the focus you could change the depth of field or DOP for short.
7. In all the modes you can adjust the ISO but in Shutter-priority mode you adjust the shutter speed and the camera automatically adjusts the aperture, in Aperture-priority mode you adjust the aperture and the camera automatically adjusts the shutter speed, in Manual exposure you adjust all the settings (meaning shutter speed and aperture) by yourself.
8. Tonal values is the lightness, the light or dark of a color independent of its chromaticity. You can adjust them in photoshop using levels or curves.
9.A histogram is a graph using rectangles that shows how many of one thing there is.
10. Diffused light is pretty much light that bounces off of the walls and floor and roof, or any surface for that matter.Light that impacts a surface at ninety degrees. Existing light is light that is already there. Artificial light is light thats made. Natural light is like light from the sun or moon. Fill light lets you reduce the contrast of a picture and provid some light to shadowy areas. Key light is used to highlight dimesion and form of a picture, it can also cause a silhoutte effect. Flash light is a device to provid artificial light to a picture.
11. Basic image correction in photoshop is to save the picture as a psd, then crop if needed, then adjust the tonal values using levels or curves, then resave as a jpg.
12. To make a selection in photoshop you could use the quick selection tool, the magic wand, or the marquee tools.
13. Because if you make a destructive mistake on the adjustmint layer you can just delete that layer and make a new one, where as if you make a destructive mistake on the photo itself, its perminant.
14. If you take a picture of a person without their permission. One example of this happening is when the vampire weekend band put a picture of a girl without her permission. My own opinion is that if your going to shoot a picture of a person and they are the or one of the main focuses then you should get their permission.
15. I think photography is important because it can take a picture of something and then we will always be able to look back on that even if the object in that picture get destroyed, but its also important in showing a persons point of veiw and creativity.
