Portrait Exercise
I really like how this picture feels like its moving. I remembered what Mr.Long said about trying to take some new kinds of shots like some completely out of focus so I tried doing that and I did. I think that this is one of my favorite pictures that I shot this project.
I really like how this one Nick is out of focus and Caleb is in focus. You can really feel the movement in this picture.
I took this one thinking about how Mr.Long said take some with just half of a persons face.

KONY 2012
1. KONY 2012 is about stopping Joseph Kony who is a very bad man. Joseph Kony is number one on the worlds worst criminals list. The whole reason for this video is to bring attention to him and inform the world of his wrong-doings. What he has done is force children to join his army and kill their own family's.
2. His goal is on April 20 lots of people are going to post fliers of him all over the world to get the US government to stop him. He mainly just wants to stop the inhumanity that is happening in Uganda. The main reason for this video is to inform people about Joseph Kony.
3. I think it is a good idea to bring awareness to him. The video looked good and had a good purpose. I personally think that there is more going on then we are led to believe. It could also cause more trouble if the government just blows off this issue and all the posters put up would have to be taken down by some volunteers or if the government uses taxpayer money to pay people to take down the posters.
4. Its a interesting thing because it would encourage the people to force the government to do something about it. But the cons are that things may not be what we are led to believe and then we could attack and end up hurting ourselves instead.
5. Raising awareness is just making a documentary to inform people about something. A call to action is telling or encouraging people to do something.
6.What is the issue?- I was thinking about bad diet habits that people have.
Where is it?- It is mostly just America.
Who are the people affected?- The American people are greatly affected by this issue.
Why should people care about this issue?- Because if we don't stop then we will just get unhealthier and unhealthier, and if we can cure this issue then it would solve so many diseases that we have recently acquired.
What can people like you do to solve the problem; to help? What specifically can people do?- What I can do is inform people about this issue and the benefits of a healthy diet. What people can do is realize what they're putting into their body's.
How could you use the media to call attention to the issue? How can you get people's attention?- To show where our society is headed would be attention grabbing.
What is your specific proposal; your call to action? What do you want people to actually do?- I want people to stop eating so unhealthily.
What is your proposed timeline?- I don't know when this will happen but i hope soon.
7. I would shoot pictures of our society today and show that lots of America is gaining unhealthy diets and if we just go back to natural foods and not "fast food" type foods than many of the diseases of today could just disappear.
